Beth Pearson

Career

I started at ALM as a Project Coordinator in 2022. This was my first experience of translation project management. Prior to this, I worked as a freelance translator (French and Spanish into English) and before that, as a trainee in communications at the European Commission.

Role

I have just been promoted to Project Lead. I am very excited to continue to work with my team of amazing PMs and develop in my new role.

Achievements to date

ALM have allowed me to progress quite quickly in my career. I’m now very happy to be leading my own team.

I have also project managed some quite large and complex projects during my time here. It is always rewarding when a challenging project goes to plan.

What your role brings to the business

My role is to support my team and help them to achieve their professional goals. I also work with them to seek ways to improve existing workflows, hit their targets and ensure that our clients are satisfied with our service.

What you enjoy outside of work

I love running, and I am currently training for a half marathon. I also enjoy exercise classes, travelling, vegan food, ice skating and chess.
