I am Gabrielle Menendez, the Finance Manager of ALM Translations.


I have been with ALM since 2011, I’ve worked in project and vendor management roles. I am now the Finance manager, the role that I thoroughly enjoy.

Achievements to date

ALM had a very complex and laborious invoicing process which was very time consuming and costly but has now implemented a new accounting software system for multiply locations, thereby reducing time for both the finance department and suppliers. This implementation significantly streamlined our processes resulting in reduction in processing time and added an increase in overall productivity. These improvements positively impacted the company’s bottom line and enhanced our ability to deliver exceptional service to our valued customers. This has allowed me to pay our suppliers on time and saved money for ALM.

What your role brings to the business

In my role as a finance manager, there was a need to modernise our financial system and processes to stay ahead in the rapidly evolving digital landscape. My role has ensured that we provide a seamless personalised experience for both our customers and suppliers. This has greatly reduced administrative time by approximately 80%.

What you enjoy outside of work

Outside of work, I love wide open spaces surrounded by nature. I enjoy spending time with my loved ones and listening to philosophical audiobooks.
